Valdeon Picos de Europe Blue


From the high valleys of the Picos de Europa in León, this is a pasteurised blue cheese made with mainly cows´ milk, and tempered with goats´ milk in the summer months.

Matured for at least two months, it is then wrapped in maple leaves.

Full bodied and strong, but not overwhelming, salty but not overly so, it is creamy, aromatic and melts in the mouth.
